David De Gea’s move to Real Madrid appears to have hit a snag, after the Manchester United man reportedly told the Spanish giants that he would not move to the club while Iker Casillas remains.
Despite battling it out for the national side, The Sun report that the 24-year-old is not willing to move to the Bernabeu if he has to compete with the veteran stopper for the number one spot.
This could see the former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper remain at Old Trafford for the final year of his contract, which will surely give United fans a bit of confidence that they may be able to hold onto one of their players of the season for the long-term.
However, Madrid have claimed that there are several interested parties willing to take the 34-year-old for the twilight of his career, The Sun claim.
Tottenham and Arsenal are reportedly keen, and amazingly Crystal Palace may chance their arm for the World Cup winner.
