According to The Sun, the former Tottenham winger is not interested in a move back to England – with Manchester United, Manchester City, and Chelsea all keen – as he is happy in the Spanish capital.

“I’m a Real Madrid player and I’ll carry on as normal. I am enjoying it and hopefully I can continue to,” he said.

“I feel settled. I’m looking forward now to playing and winning more trophies,” Bale added.

The 25-year-old has received some criticism this year, after enjoying an unbelievable first campaign at the Bernabeu. He scored a stunning winning goal in the Copa Del Rey final against Barcelona, and bagged what would be the key goal in the Champions League final win over Atletico Madrid.

Despite scoring 13 times in La Liga, and creating nine goals for his teammates this time around, the world’s most expensive player has become a scapegoat for a trophyless season that ended with Carlo Ancelotti’s dismissal.

And while his agent failed to help the situation by suggesting that his teammates should be passing it to him more often (via The Telegraph), his relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo has been touted as a possible reason for Madrid’s inability to add to their bursting trophy cabinet this year.

However, Bale has completely dismissed any suggestion that he and the Portuguese talisman are struggling to co-exist in the side.

“It’s rubbish. When you are on the pitch you try to help your team-mates as much as you can,” he explained.

“People are trying to create problems which aren’t there. It’s good and normal training and playing with Cristiano. You train with the best players and you try to improve as much as they do,” Bale added.
