In demand Porto striker Jackson Martinez has admitted that he is waiting for Arsenal to come in with a £25m offer for his services this summer, according to the Daily
The Colombian international is currently on Copa America duty in Chile and has already confirmed that he will be leaving Portuguese giants Porto in this summer’s transfer window.
Reports recently claimed that he would be on his way to AC Milan, with the Italian giants believed to have won the race for his signature, but the striker is yet to have made up his mind.
And Martinez admitted that he would give any offer from Arsenal some serious consideration should they meet his £25m release clause.
“It’s a big club in one of the best leagues in the world. We have to see if an offer will become a reality or not,” he said of a move to Arsenal.
“The day we’ll know where my future goes is near. I still haven’t decided, as I’m focused on the Copa America right now.
“Every footballer dreams of enjoying football. If that’s in England, Italy or Spain, the important thing is that it feels good.”
The 28-year-old was in impressive form for Porto again last season, bagging 32 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions – taking his total tally with the club up to 92 in 132 games.
