The Gunners have been keen on the Germany international for some time, but a concrete move never seemed to materialise.
Liverpool and Manchester United were also credited with an interest in the 28-year-old, but he will now link up with Juve on July 1, when his contract with Real Madrid expires.

Khedira has enjoyed a trophy-laden spell with the Madrid giants, picking up six pieces of silverware during that time, including the 2014 Champions League.
However, injury has prevented him from making a meaningful contribution, making 17 appearances across all competitions – one appearances less than the previous campaign, failing to find the net.
The news was broken by Sky Sports on Twitter, but Juventus have since released a statement confirming the deal.
“Juventus Football Club has today completed the signing of Sami Khedira,” it read.
