The Gunners are just one of the plethora of clubs to have displayed an interest in the midfielder, and his days in Turin now appear to be drawing to a close.

Spanish publication Marca claim that the Champions League finalists have agreed to sell him to a top European side, but are keeping that club’s identity a secret until he returns from the Copa America in his homeland.

Chile have made it to the tournament’s semi final stage, and with the final set to take place a week on Saturday, Arsenal fans will have just over a week to discover if they are the lucky side to have won the race for his signature.
