Monaco midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia is apparently ready to reject a move to AC Milan in favour of a switch to Liverpool as he is a huge Reds fan, according to the Metro.
The France international has found himself in high demand this summer, and has attracted some serious interest from the likes of Real Madrid, AC Milan and a host of top Premier League clubs.
However, a report from Goal.com is claiming that Liverpool actually hold an advantage in the race for his signature after it emerged that he is actually a Liverpool fan.
The report claims that an offer from the Reds could sway his decision making process, and though Real Madrid would be able to offer him a better financial package, as well as Champions League football, he would be keen to line up at Anfield.
However, because of Real’s financial clout, they are closer to activating the release clause in his contract, allowing him to move for just £14.2m.
