The agent of Iker Casillas has met with Arsenal and Tottenham to discuss a possible move to the Premier League, according to reports.
The Daily Express report that Carlos Cutropia has met with the two English clubs as both are keen on bringing the 34-year-old to north London.
And it seems that Los Blancos are keen to offload their legendary goalkeeper, as it will clear some room on the wage bill for the arrival of Manchester United stopper David de Gea, the Express report.
However, if either club is serious about signing Casillas, they may have to beat off competition from Paris Saint-Germain, Fenerbache, Inter Milan, and Besiktas.
And the Madrid man may decide that one of the latter four options is the best one, should he decide that he needs to be considered the main man between the sticks.
Spurs have relied on Hugo Lloris over the past three years, while the Gunners have completed a deal to sign Petr Cech, according to the Daily Mail, which means that Casillas is likely to be relegated to the bench should he join either side, which would be a sad end to the career of one of the game’s greatest goalkeepers.
