The agent of Serbian winger Andrija Zivkovic has confirmed that Premier League champions Chelsea are one of the clubs interested in signing the 18-year-old.
According to the Daily Star, Pedja Djordjevic revealed that the Blues and La Liga outfit Valencia are two of the clubs currently chasing the youngster’s signature.
“Valencia and Chelsea are two of the clubs who are interested in Zivkovic,” he said.
The Star also report that Portuguese champions Benfica are also in the running.
Zivkovic currently plays for Partizan Belgrade, where he has already made nearly 50 league appearances for the side, and has scored ten goals. Seven of those strikes have come during this past season, as Partizan won the league title by seven points. He also became the side’s youngest ever captain, when he briefly took the armband at the age of just 17.
He is also starting to make a name for himself on the international stage. As well as collecting two caps for Serbia, he played a crucial role in the country’s surprise win in the Under-20 World Cup, scoring two goals along the way, including the opener in their semi-final against Mali.
