Arsenal have reportedly won the race to sign Ajax wonderkid Donyell Malen, according to the Metro.

The Metro suggest that the striker, who is represented by Mino Raiola – who is also the agent of Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Mario Balotelli among others – was also being watched by Barcelona.
But, it was the Premier League side that won the battle, with the Metro suggesting that their relationship with the Eredivisie side – who have Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp as assistant manager, and recently secured a loan deal for Gunners forward Yaya Sanogo – helped get a deal across the line.
Both Arsenal and the Catalan side have a good record of giving young players an opportunity to shine, so signing for the north London outfit should give Malen the best opportunity of realising the potential that Arsene Wenger and his team believe he has.
