Arsenal are said to be leading the chase ahead of Chelsea for the signature of Napoli star Faouzi Ghoulam, according to the Metro.

Reports in Spain have claimed the Gunners have taken early steps into landing his signature this summer, and could beat the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City in their interest, as they have both recently declared their own interest in the player.
Napoli are believed to be looking for a fee of around £8m for the Algerian international, and Arsene Wenger is sorely tempted to act quickly as he looks into bringing in more defensive reinforcements ahead of the new season.
Ghoulam was in impressive form for the Serie A giants last term, so much so that he was even named in the Europa League Team of the Tournament.
And though Arsenal already have Kieran Gibbs and Nacho Monreal at left-back, it is thought that the 24-year-old would provide some serious competition elsewhere at the back.
