Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has revealed he will look to strengthen his squad with one further addition this summer, but the Portuguese ruled the reigning Premier League champions out of the race to sign Barcelona’s Pedro, the Daily Mail reports.
Mourinho, who had a reported £20million offer for Everton defender John Stones rejected on Friday, confirmed that he would focus on adding to his defensive options with a little over six weeks of the transfer window remaining.
Mourinho is prepared to end 27-year-old winger Juan Cuadrado’s unimpressive spell at Chelsea but will not take anything less than the £26.1m they paid for him in January, according to the London Evening Standard.
