Chelsea have reportedly had an offer of £20m for Real Madrid playmaker Isco rejected by the Spanish giants.
According to the Daily Mirror, the Premier League champions are set to battle it out with Juventus for his signature. The Mirror report that the Old Lady have also made an approach for the 23-year-old, however, like the Blues’ bid, it was knocked back by Los Blancos.
Manchester City are also keen on the Spain international.
The Mirror suggest that the news may now mean that Jose Mourinho is willing to let Oscar leave Stamford Bridge this summer, and may be looking to use the Brazilian to try and get his target.
Juventus’ interest in the Blues man (via Mirror) could see them move out of the race for the Madrid star. The Mirror report that the Serie A champions have already made a bid of £12m, which would involve a season-long loan with a fixed option to buy, which unsurprisingly, falls well short of Chelsea’s valuation.
Isco has struggled to make the desired impact at the Bernabeu since his £23m move (via Mirror) two years ago. Although he managed nine assists during the last La Liga season, he only scored four goals, which left him 44 behind Cristiano Ronaldo’s total.
