Chelsea have become the latest Premier League side to express an interest in making a move for Barcelona attacker Pedro, according to Spanish news site Sport.
The wide forward has already attracted interest from the likes of Liverpool (via Liverpool Echo) and Arsenal (via the Metro) already this summer, who are all hoping to convince him to leave the Nou Camp by offering more regular first team football.
The Spanish international has seen his playing time drastically reduced thanks to the club’s first choice attacking trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar holding court, and his cause will now further be hampered by the recent arrival of Arda Turan from Atletico Madrid.
With the Turkish international also capable of taking up wide positions, his chances of slipping down the pecking order will have greatly increased, and the Blues are now hoping they will be able to beat their Premier League rivals to his signature.
Sport claim that Chelsea will lodge a €20m offer for his services, though despite his reduced role in the first team, Barcelona believe he will remain at the club beyond the summer.
