Juventus eye up move for Man City forward David Silva

Italian champions Juventus are said to be eyeing up a surprise move for Manchester City attacker David Silva as Arturo Vidal looks to be on his way out, the Daily Express reports.

Juventus have been looking at a number of options recently, but The Times now claim that the 29-year-old has emerged at the top of their list.

With both Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal being linked with moves away this summer, it now appears as though the latter will be on his way with Bayern Munich now favourites to snap him up (via BBC).

City had been after Pogba earlier in the summer, but following much speculation, no formal offer was ever made for his services, though manager Manuel Pellegrini is said to still be hoping to use the Spaniard as bait to bring the France international on board.

Juve are believed to be looking for replacements from the Premier League, which will come as a huge boost to those interested in signing Bayern Munich star Mario Gotze.
