It seems as if Juventus have frequently looked to Stamford Bridge for their transfer targets this summer, as once again Massimiliano Allegri has one of Jose Mourinho’s squad in his sights.
According to the Daily Mirror, the Old Lady boss is now considering a bid for Brazilian winger Willian, having previously wanted both Mohamed Salah and Oscar.
The Mirror report that Oscar’s representatives have ruled out a move away from London during this window, while the Egyptian looks set to return to Fiorentina on a permanent deal, having spent the second half of last season on loan with the Serie A side.
Those two setbacks have forced Allegri to change his focus, and turn towards the 26-year-old, who has enjoyed two promising campaigns in England. While his first season ended without silverware, he played a pivotal part during the last year as the Blues claimed the Capital One Cup and Premier League title.
Having played 61 times in two years in the top flight, it seems unlikely that Mourinho will even consider to sell one of his most trusted players. He may be tempted however, should the Italian champions offer the club a massive profit on the £32m (via Daily Mirror) they spent on him in 2013.
The Mirror claim that a deal may not be entirely out of the question, as Chelsea maintain a very keen interest in Juve’s talisman Paul Pogba. Perhaps, one – or maybe more – of the Blues trio may be used as bait to lure the Champions League finalists into selling the Frenchman.
