Italian champions Juventus are reportedly hoping to persuade Mesut Ozil to leave Arsenal this summer as they prepare for life without either Paul Pogba or Arturo Vidal, according to the Daily
Juventus have already stated that they would not be letting either player move on in the coming weeks unless they personally hand in transfer requests.
But with a number of Europe’s top clubs continuing to hunt down the pair, the Italian giants are still planning for life without them.
Chelsea star Oscar had been one of the favourites, as had Real Madrid star Isco.
But now, a report in Italian news site Tuttosport, Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has emerged as a possible candidate to head to Turin.
The Express believe that Ozil is concerned about the tactics employed at the Emirates Stadium, and is worried that manager Arsene Wenger won’t use him the way he wants to be used.
Juventus claimed that only a ‘phenomenon’ would be able to take over from Carlos Tevez in the number 10 shirt, and it would seem that the Germany international would fit the bill comfortably.
