Liverpool defender Kolo Toure may already have a reputation as something of a wild card, and he has just done his credentials a disservice by admitting he is terrified of animals.
Taking part in Liverpool’s pre-season tour of Australia and the Far East, the Ivorian international turned down the chance to take part in a photo opportunity with some cuddly koala bears because he ‘doesn’t do animals’.
Later, when speaking with Liverpool TV, he explained that he is so afraid of animals that he hasn’t touched his own dog in a whopping seven years.
