Louis van Gaal wants to convince Manchester United flop to STAY

Louis van Gaal reportedly wants to convince Angel Di Maria to snub interest from elsewhere, and remain a Manchester United player.

According to the Daily Star, Paris Saint-Germain are keen on ending the Argentinian’s time in England, and are willing to offer £50m to make a deal happen. However, despite his struggles, the Dutchman wants him to stay and rebuild his reputation in the Premier League.

The Star suggest that van Gaal will be willing to let Di Maria leave, should the former Real Madrid man decide that he wants to go. The Star report that he and his wife are currently unsettled in Manchester.

While his manager wants him to remain at Old Trafford for another campaign, it may not be the worst move for the Red Devils to cut their losses this summer.

The Star report that United paid £59.7m to make the winger the most expensive buy from a British club, and despite a really disappointing season, Laurent Blanc’s men are willing to offer nearly the full amount that United paid. Should he have another torrid time, you would imagine that his value will plummet.
