(Video) Liverpool 2-0 Adelaide: New boys combine to bag friendly victory for Reds

Two new Liverpool players combined to give the side a well deserved victory on the final stop of their stay in Australia.

Both James Milner and Danny Ings managed to get on the scoresheet in what turned out to be a good workout for Brendan Rodgers’ men as they prepare for the upcoming season.

Milner, who already found the net against Brisbane Roar last week, opened the scoring in the second half when he latched on to a low driven ball across the face of goal to tuck the chance away emphatically.

And the game was rounded off by fellow new boy Danny Ings, who gave Reds fans a glimpse into what they can expect from him when he followed on to a well timed through ball to slot under the onrushing keeper to double his side’s advantage.
