It’s nice to have friends in high places that can lend a hand to help you get what you want, especially when what you want is to get on the cover of the new FIFA game.
But with Jordan Henderson aiming for just that, his chances of appearing on the front of the UK version of FIFA 16 alongside Lionel Messi have been handed a boost with a shoutout from NBA megastar Lebron James.
The 6’8 forward, who is currently a free agent having finished his contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, took to Facebook to back the England international.
It was certainly an unusual move, with James even referring to Henderson and the club as “the Liverpool family”.
But the big question is whether James was giving the England star backing because he is a fan of the club, or because it was a business decision as he has part owned the club since 2012.
