Earlier this week Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho claimed Eden Hazard was in the same bracket as Lionel Messi and Eden Hazard, with the Special One even putting him above the latter.
Many may argue that the Belgian still has a long way to go before he is in the same league as Ronaldo, but he showed that he has the ingredients to do so with a tremendous strike in Chelsea’s pre-season clash with Barcelona in the United States on Tuesday night.
Dribbling past five players from his own half, the 24-year-old danced into the box before firing past the helpless Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
Hazard opened the scoring at 1-0, but the spoils were shared on the night with the game finishing 2-2.
