Arsenal may have to wait until next summer to sign Gonzalo Higuain

Arsenal may have to wait another 12 months before being given another run at signing Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain, according to the Daily Express.

The Argentine has been consistently linked with an exit from the San Paolo this summer with Manchester United and Chelsea also being heavily linked with a move for his signature.

Higuain is said be desperate to leave the Serie A side, but reports in Spain are claiming that they will not allow him to leave until next year.

Though, this was already evident by the fact that Napoli had slapped a £59m price tag on his head.

However, that won’t stop Arsenal from making another offer during the January transfer window, with the Daily Express going on to report that they will offer £27m to snap him up in the new year.
