Barcelona legend tells Pedro to reject Man United saying ‘Van Gaal will DESTROY your career’

Former Barcelona great Hristo Stoichkov has urged winger Pedro to reject the chance to join Manchester United this summer because he thinks Louis van Gaal will ruin his career, the Metro reports.

The Spanish international is rumoured to be ready to join United in the next few days following his involvement in Barca’s Super Cup clash with Sevilla in Tbilisi on Tuesday night (via Daily Telegraph).

And though the move seems almost inevitable now, the Bulgarian maestro has told the 27-year-old to turn down a move to Old Trafford because he believes that Louis van Gaal will destroy his career.

“I would never be under the orders of Lous van Gaal,” Stoichkov told Spanish news outlet Onda Cero.

“He’s mediocre. He destroyed Barca and is destroying Manchester United.

“With what he has done to Valdes he has shown he is a bad person. Hopefully Pedro listens to me and doesn’t leave.”

Damn, Hristo, why don’t you say what you really mean?
