Highly-rated Barcelona youngster Adama Traore has reportedly accepted a move to Liverpool over a switch to Italian giants Roma, according to the Metro.
But while The Reds have kept quiet on the situation, Italian football journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has said on his website that Traore is Anfield bound after rejecting the chance to link up with the Serie A side.
The Metro states that Traore has a 100% shot record with the La Liga champions, but that is diluted because he has only played a handful of first team games for the club. Nonetheless, he is still being tipped to enjoy a huge future in the game.
Liverpool could now seal the move in the next few days, though it would surely make sense to jettison another of their unwanted forwards before bringing in somebody else.
Rickie Lambert has already joined West Brom (via BBC) but they still have Mario Balotelli and Fabio Borini to move on as neither look to have much of a future on Merseyside.
