Juventus are hoping to get in ahead of Chelsea and Manchester City, and complete a deal to sign Real Madrid playmaker Isco, according to the Daily
Massimiliano Allegri is trying to add some more depth to his midfield this summer following the loss of both Arturo Vidal and Andrea Pirlo, and has made the 23-year-old his main target (via Express). The Old Lady are preparing a £28.4m bid for the Spaniard, the Express claim.
Should they make such an offer, it may tempt both Jose Mourinho and Manuel Pellegrini to get involved and make a bid of their own.
Worryingly for Mourinho supporters, the Express go as far as to suggest that this deal may have a major impact on the Special One’s future at Stamford Bridge.
The Portuguese has told the Blues board to make a deal happen for the former Malaga man previously, and their failure to sign Isco, as well as several other targets, has seen Mourinho become increasingly frustrated with the club’s hierarchy, leading to speculation that he may find a switch to Paris Saint-Germain very tempting (via Express).
