Everton are planning to make a somewhat surprising move for Bayern Munich defender Dante, according to the Metro.
That has seen him go after the Brazil international, and the Bavarian side do not appear too keen to stand in his way.
The 31-year-old has featured regularly during his three seasons at the Allianz Arena, and has helped the German giants win the Bundesliga title in each campaign, as well as the Champions League in 2013, and yet the Metro claim he would be available for just £6.4m.
That may be down to the fact that he has developed a reputation for being rather error-prone considering the stature of the club he plays for. While it was not while wearing a Bayern shirt, he was at the heart of Brazil’s defence that got slaughtered 7-1 by Germany in last year’s World Cup semi-final.
