Could Cristiano Ronaldo be planning a move to Major League Soccer?

An article in the New York Post has reported that the 30-year-old splashed the cash on an $18.5m apartment in New York’s famous Trump Tower recently.

The Portuguese international has long been tipped to make the move Stateside, with both New York clubs looking to be likely destinations should his career head that way.

The loft was initially the property of Italian real-estate mogul Alessandro Proto, and has three bedrooms and a corner location that offers panoramic views of Central Park, the Empire State Building, One World Trade Center, and the Hudson River.
