Liverpool eye ambitious move for Real Madrid star Toni Kroos

Liverpool are believed to be eyeing up a move for Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos, according to the Metro.

The report claims that Liverpool are not yet finished with their summer overhaul and manager Brendan Rodgers is still looking to inject some fresh blood into the centre of midfield.

And now a report in the Daily Express is linking The Reds with a move for the Germany international amid reports that he is ready to quit the La Liga giants, thus launching him to the top of their wanted list.

Kroos is said to have grown unhappy in the Spanish capital and is open to new offers from elsewhere. However, The Express believe that Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain are also displaying an interest, so Rodgers will need to act fast if they are to get the jump on his signature.

The Metro claims that the World Cup winner is valued at £35m.

His exit, should it happen, would come as somewhat of a shock. Having joined the club from Bayern Munich last summer, he established himself as a key first team member, making 55 appearances across all competitions.
