Arsenal are set to follow on from the announcement that both Theo Walcott and Santi Cazorla have extended their stay at the club by offering left-back Nacho Monreal a new deal worth a reported £75,000-per-week, according to the Metro.
The 29-year-old had been linked with a return to his native Spain this summer before publicly stating that he wanted to stay at The Emirates for the foreseeable future.
But despite that, reports in Spain have suggested that he has now definitely put an end to the speculation about his future by agreeing a £3.9m-per-season deal to stay at the club.
The Spaniard has made a total of 86 appearances for Arsenal across all competitions since signing on from Malaga in January of 2013.
He dispossessed Kieran Gibbs as the club’s first choice left-back last season after a stint filling in at centre-back.
