Tottenham are closing in on completing a £20m move for West Brom forward Saido Berahino, according to the Metro.

Spurs went into the latter stages of this window knowing that they needed to add to their attacking depth. While Harry Kane enjoyed a sensational season last term, there is no guarantee that he would be able to replicate that same form this time around.
And with the club starting the season with two permanently out-of-form forwards as Kane’s only back-up, Spurs’ hopes would have solely rested on whether the 22-year-old was as lethal in front of goal as he was during the last campaign.
Roberto Soldado has moved on however, and while Emmanuel Adebayor remains, Pochettino has added Clinton N’Jie to his ranks, meaning that the seemingly imminent arrival of Berahino gives Tottenham one of the most promising and exciting front three’s in the top flight.
