Following news that John Stones has handed in a transfer request at Everton, it would seem that it is only a matter of time before a move to Chelsea goes through.
The Blues have been on the young defender’s trail for the majority of the summer with The Blues making three offers to prize him away from Goodison Park.
A final offer of around £40m is expected to go in before the close of the transfer window, though there are some who will look to reject the move no matter what the fee is.
A video has surfaced this week of Everton director Jon Woods telling a fan that neither he nor Bill Kenwright will sanction that sale of John Stones to Chelsea.
