Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp in his pre-match conference on Friday called former Man Utd manager Sir Alex Ferguson the John Lennon of football.
Klopp was addressing the media ahead of United’s Sunday trip to Anfield, and he was full of praise for the legendary manager.
Comparing Sir Alex to the famous Liverpool musician, he said: “Maybe he is the best ever. The John Lennon of football or something.”
Users on Twitter, as usual, reacted in numbers to the comments. United fans loved them, Liverpool fans not so much.
