Manchester United starlet breaks record, Louis van Gaal flops [Video’s]

Manchester United beat Arsenal 3-2 in an absolute cracker at Old Trafford, with Louis van Gaal and Jordan Rashford providing the highlights.

Rashford scored the Red Devils’ first two goals, in the 29th and 32nd minute of play. The first one was a rocket shot, leaving Petr Cech without any chance to save it. The second one was a strong header, wich was placed out of reach of the Arsenal goalkeeper.

Being 18 years and 120 days old, Rashford became the youngest player to score a brace in a Premier League match for United. He beat the likes of Wayne Roonye, Ryan Giggs and Cristiano Ronaldo in this regard. Some fancy company to be in, and that in just his first English top flight start in his career!

But the biggest moment of the encounter probably was provided by the Red Devil’s boss. During the second half, van Gaal was furious that Arsenal were awarded a free-kick, with the Dutchman feeling that the Arsenal player had dived to win the free-kick and making  a theatrical fall on the sidelines.

Ander Herrera scored the third United goal, while Danny Welbeck and Mesut Ozil hit the net for the Gunners, who suffered a crucial defeat in their Premier League title hunt. Arsenal are now trailing league leaders Leicester by five points, while Tottenham are second.

United keep West Ham and Southampton behind them, and are ranked fifth with 44 points after 27 matchdays, three points down from Manchester City.
