Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge’s future might lie elsewhere from the club if the latest reports are to be believed.
The Sun claims that Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain have identified Sturridge as a summer transfer target, and they are ready to launch a massive bid for him.
The Paris club are set to lose their forwards Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edison Cavani in summer and are actively searching for able replacements. According to the report, PSG are ready to spend as much as £50 million to secure the signing of the England international.
A delegation from PSG is expected to be in London on Tuesday when England face Holland in an international friendly. Sturridge has recently recovered from injury problems, which have troubled him for the better part of the last two seasons.
Various reports have suggested that 26-year-old is not happy with the treatment he received at the Merseyside club while he was injured and he is looking to leave the club in the summer.
Sturridge signed a five-year contract extension with the Reds last season and manager Jurgen Klopp has indicated that he wants to keep the player at the club.
However, a bid of £50 million might force the Premier League club to change their stance on their player.
