Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is going to be a man-in-demand during the summer transfer window.
The 34-year old is in the last year of his contract with the Ligue 1 club, and he will be a free agent in summer. The Swedish international has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League with heavyweights such as Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea interested in his services.
Ibrahimovic set the rumour mill rolling by claiming that Premier League clubs have expressed interest in his services. Speaking ahead of Sweden’s friendly with the Czech Republic, he said: “Yes, there is interest from the Premier League, I can confirm that,” he said according to Goal.
“The Premier League is the league in the world all people and fans speak about. A lot of things have to feel fine when I’m going to take a decision this summer.”
Earlier this month, rumours suggested that Ibrahimovic wants a move to London and has informed Arsenal that he would like to play for the Gunners.
Last week, Daily Star claimed that Manchester United are ready to offer a two-year deal worth £24 million to lure the 34-year old to Old Trafford. It has been suggested that Jose Mourinho, who has worked with the striker at Inter Milan, would like to bring the player to United if he is appointed as the club’s manager in the summer.
Ibrahimovic has also been linked with moves to the Chinese Super League and MLS, while scoring 35 goals in 40 appearances in all competitions this season.
