Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud might have his days numbered at Emirates Stadium. If the latest reports from Italy are to be believed, Serie A giants Juventus are interested in signing the Arsenal striker in the summer.
According to Italian source Tuttosport, via talkSPORT, the Old Lady have identified the French forward as one of their possible summer targets.
The report claims that the Serie A champions’ top priority is to sign a striker in the summer, and Paris Saint-Germain forward Edison Cavani is their number one transfer target.
However, the Turin club face competition from Chelsea and Manchester United in their pursuit of the Uruguayan international, and they will switch their attention towards the Arsenal forward if Cavani decides to move elsewhere.
Giroud moved to the North London club from Ligue 1 club Montpellier in 2012 for a transfer fee believed to be around £9.6 million.
The 29-year old forward has scored 53 league goals in 126 league appearances for the club. He has also won two FA Cups during his time with the Gunners.
