Everton are ranked just 12th in the Premier League table, gaining only 38 points after 28 matches. However, the Toffees have scored 51 goals so far. Only Leicester City, Tottenham and Manchester City have hit the net more.
The Toffees play fast-pace football and are helped by a trio of Under-23 starlets who have provided a total of 22 assists this season.
The first one is Gerard Delofeu. The Spaniard has provided nine assists, six of them to Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian has scored 18 goals so far, with only Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy providing more goals for their teams.
Lukaku himself has also provided six assists, with Arouna Kone being the end station on four occasions. Ross Barkley has provided one assist more than his striker.
Two other Premier League starlets are featured in the top 15. Tottenham’s Dele Alli is the youngest player, and has provided nine assists so far. Meanwhile, Southampton’s Sadio Mane is in 15th place with six assists.
The list is headed by Espanyol’s Marco Asensio, who’s owned by Real Madrid, with ten assists. Marseille’s Michy Batshuayi has provided nine assists, as the Belgian is wanted by a number of English clubs.
