It’s been one hell of a season for Tottenham. The Spurs are ranked second in the Premier League, still in the race for their first title since 1961.
Coach Mauricio Pochettino has an extremely talented squad to manage. Just think about the likes of Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Toby Alderweireld, and Christian Eriksen.
However, the Spurs are looking to get even better as they are eyeing a solid run in the Champions League and another run at the Premier League title next season.
According to German news outlet Bild, Tottenham have made Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud a priority in the summer and are willing to offer the Bundesliga club a transfer fee from £24 to £28 million for the 20-year-old.
Dahoud has provided four goals and six assists in 35 appearances in all competitions for Monchengladbach, including six games in the Champions League.
Meanwhile, Tottenham already have an alternative, with The Daily Mail reporting they are willing to pay £10 million for Mainz 05 midfielder Yunus Malli.
The Spurs tried to sign the 24-year-old Turkish international during the January transfer window, but a deal couldn’t be concluded. Tottenham are ready to revive their interest in Malli, who has scored 10 goals in the Bundesliga this season as Mainz are surprisingly pushing for a European ticket.
Tottenham are reportedly also interested in Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic. The 21-year-old Croatian joined the Spanish giants from Inter last summer, but has been unable to crack their starting formation.
According to Spanish news outlet AS, Tottenham will have to fight Sevilla for his services.
