Manchester United refuse to confirm Mourinho deal, Real Madrid want him back

Jose Mourinho’s supposed move to Manchester United is slowly but surely turning into a transfer saga.

Every day, we are hearing conflicting stories on the Portuguese manager’s move to Old Trafford and now reputed Spanish journalist Guillem Balague has given his opinion on the current managerial situation at the Manchester club.

According to Balague, Mourinho and his camp are confident of landing the job at Old Trafford. However, at the same time, Louis Van Gaal, who is under contract until 2017, is positive that he will see out his contract with the Red Devils.

Meanwhile, United insist that no decision has been made on the former Chelsea manager’s move to the club, and according to Balague, there is also a possibility that Mourinho could re-join La Liga giants Real Madrid.

Balague thinks that Real president Florentino Perez wants to bring Mourinho back to the Santiago Bernabeu, and following Real’s disappointing performance against Wolfsburg on Wednesday, he might step up his efforts.

Mourinho has been without a job since he was sacked by Chelsea in December.
