But there are also players who’ve been with the same Premier League team for a very long time. Therefore, we rank all current 20 clubs in the English top flight according to loyalty by their players, via Transfermarkt.

20. Watford

The current Hornets squad has an average stay of just 539 days, with Tom Hoban being their most loyal player with 1,746 days at the club.

19. Sunderland

Next up are the Black Cats. Their players have, on average, been at the club for 628 days. Lee Cattermole has been at Sunderland the longest, for 2,445 days to be precisely.

The average stay at the Hammers is 727 days, with Mark Noble being their most loyal player at 3,449 days.
