Jose Mourinho reportedly agrees a three-year deal with Manchester United

Jose Mourinho’s reported move to Manchester United has dominated the football headlines for quite some time now.

Various media outlets have claimed that the Portuguese manager will take charge of the Red Devils in the summer, while others have contested that Louis Van Gaal will see out his contract at Old Trafford.

Now, according to a report in German publication Bild, Mourinho has agreed on a deal with United and will replace Van Gaal in the next summer.

The supposed three-year deal will see the Portuguese manager remain in charge of the club until 2019.

Van Gaal, who has come under severe criticism for United’s performances this season, will depart in the summer with one year still left on his current deal.

The report also claims that Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the top transfer target of Mourinho, and the Swedish International is also expected to arrive at United in the summer.

Ibrahimovic will be a free agent at the end of the current season, and he has hinted that he has already received offers from some Premier League clubs.

Mourinho has previously worked with Ibrahimovic during his time at Inter Milan.
