On Monday, Chelsea announced that Antonio Conte will take over the reigns at Stamford Bridge. He will be the fifth Italian to manage the Blues, following on from Gianluca Vialli, Claudio Ranieri, Carlo Ancelotti and Roberto Di Matteo.
When the news got out, Twitter welcomed the 46-year-old to Stamford Bridge:

Since 1971/72, Conte is the Juventus manager with the highest win ratio in Serie A (72.8%)https://t.co/wdxtJfcV13 pic.twitter.com/GTeYDeVwzM

Just a reminder to Chelsea fans. If Conte brings on a keeper for a penalty shoot-out in the Euros, it doesn’t mean good things will happen.

Love italian football, and the fact that Conte plays attacking football, with 2 forwards!

I like Conte for Chelsea, his passion will make him a fan favorite quickly. Wasn’t the best option out there, but I can get behind him.

If Conte achieves what our last Italian manager achieved then I’ll be more than happy.

Look where Paul Pogba is now. Conte bought him and developed him. Fantastic management, and his record speaks for itself. #cfc

Our past Italian managers RDM, Raineri and Ancelotti have all done great for Chelsea. Hopefully, Conte’s story won’t be any different.

Conte apparently is a no nonsense type of manager…can think of a couple of our little darlings that will want out before he comes #CFC

Conte a good match for Chelsea, on the face of it. Will have to transfer his style to suit the PL, but has bags of relevant experience.

Conte appointment means Chelsea will be organised and highly motivated next season, which will be a considerable improvement
