Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone is one of the most sought-after managers in the football world at the moment.
The Argentine manager has turned Atletico Madrid into a European powerhouse since his arrival and has led them to a La Liga title and a Champions League final during his time with the club.
Atletico are again involved in the title race this season and are just one game away from entering the final of the Champions League for a second time during his coaching spell.
His achievements at the La Liga club have seen Simeone linked with a host of clubs in Europe. Before appointing Antonio Conte, Chelsea were reportedly interested in him and even Arsenal have been linked with a move for the 46-year-old.
However, it seems like Simeone’s next destination will be in Serie A. Brazilian great Ronaldo has claimed that it’s only a matter of time before Simeone takes charge at Inter Milan.
“I think Simeone to Inter is just a matter of time,” the former Inter striker told Mediaset Premium via Football Italia. “Roberto Mancini will still be the manager next season as Inter need consistency now.
“However, January and February results were scandalous, the five games without racking up one single point have influenced the whole season. You need to be consistent in order to win a title.”
Simeone spent two years of his playing career at the Milan club and has previously stated his desire to coach the Nerazzurri.
