Chelsea are not ready to give up in their pursuit of Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba. The Serie A champions have already made it clear that they won’t be selling their star player in the summer, but that hasn’t stopped the Blues in their chase of the France International.
Get French Football News has claimed that the West London club are in constant contact with Pogba’s camp. According to the report, Pogba is the club’s top transfer target for incoming manager Antonio Conte and Chelsea are ready to spend more £70 million to secure the 23-year-old’s signing.
If Pogba becomes available in the market, other clubs such as Manchester City, Manchester United and Real Madrid are expected to show their interest as well.
In another news, Chelsea have lost ground to Serie A club AS Roma in pursuit of Torino right-back Bruno Peres, according to Daily Express.
Peres was said to be on Antonio Conte’s wishlist, but Turin-based newspaper La Stampa has claimed that the Giallorossi have already started negotiations for the 26-year-old, offering Iago Calque and Lukasz Skorupski to the Turin club in exchange for Peres.
