Jose Mourinho not interested in Manchester United offer

There is a new twist in the ‘Jose Mourinho to Manchester United’ saga.

Reliable sports journalist Duncan Castles has claimed that the Red Devils have offered the position at the club from 2017, but the Portuguese manager is not interested in the offer.

Castles is known as a close associate of Mourinho’s super-agent Jorge Mendes and has a reputation of being a spokesperson for Mourinho’s camp in the media.

The latest claims from Castles suggest that United have no intention of sacking current manager Louis Van Gaal in the summer. The Dutchman’s current deal with the club expires in 2017 and he has recently hinted that he intends to see out his deal at Old Trafford.

Mourinho, who has been without a job since he was sacked by Chelsea in December, has already claimed that he will be getting back into football management before the next season.

He has expressed his desire to stay in Premier League, but if the situation with United doesn’t turn out in his favour, it’s hard to see him managing a Premier League club next season.
