A recent report from Sky Sports claimed that West Ham youngster Reece Oxford has rejected a new contract from the club and could leave for a bid in excess of £10 million.
The report states that the Hammers risk losing one of their brightest prospects in the summer. The 17-year-old is one of the most sought-after youth talent in Premier League. He made an eye-catching senior debut, at the age of 16, against Arsenal in the opening game of the season back in August.
He has only made six more league appearances this season, but he has been linked with moves to clubs like
Manchester United and Arsenal.
United reportedly has already made a bid of £8 million for the player, as indicated by Sky Sports via Twitter.

However, it seems like the report from Sky Sports was wide off the mark. The West Ham prodigy took to Twitter to dismiss the rumours as just rumours.

The response from the youngster indicates that he is planning to stay put with the Hammers for now.
