Tottenham are eyeing a shocking £20 million move for Liverpool star Adam Lallana. The Sun claims that Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino, who has previously worked with Lallana at Southampton, highly rates the England international and wants to bring him to White Hart Lane.
The Argentine manager is expected to ask Spurs chairperson Daniel Levy to pursue a deal for the midfielder, who is expected to cost around £20 million in the summer transfer market.
Lallana moved to Anfield in a £25 million move from Southampton in 2014. The 28-year-old has regularly started under manager Jurgen Klopp and has played a significant role in the Reds’ run to the Europa League final.
He has scored seven goals and provided seven assists in 47 games in all competitions for the Reds this season, after scoring six goals in all competitions in his debut season for the Reds.
However, the report suggests that Klopp will listen to all offers at the right price, as the funds could help him acquire his targets like Mario Gotze and Marco Reus from the Bundesliga.
