Midfielder Moussa Sissoko is one of the high-profile players expected to leave the relegated Newcastle United in the summer.
The France international recently stated his desire to play for Arsenal but seems like it’s another London club that is interested in the 26-year-old. French publication L’Equipe has claimed that Chelsea and Liverpool have made enquiries about the player.
However, Bundesliga club Hamburg are currently leading the race to sign the player, who is currently representing the France national squad in Euro Cup. The report claims that the German club have already placed a bid of £9.5 million for the player, but Newcastle value their player a bit higher than that.
Sissoko, who arrived at St. James’ Park from French club Toulouse in January 2013, still has three years left on his current deal with the Magpies, but he is not keen on playing in the second tier of English football next season.

However, it appears that his dream of playing for Arsenal will remain a dream at least for now.
