Arsenal’s only major transfer activity this summer has been the signing of midfielder Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach.
The 23-year-old, who arrived at Emirates Stadium in a £35 million move, made his debut for the Gunners in the 2-1 win over MLS All-Stars on Thursday. The Switzerland international played only 45 minutes of the game, but his performance left many Arsenal fans salivating at the prospect of seeing him on a regular basis next season.
The Gunners have not really been busy in transfer market till now, but it looks like they have found a real gem in
Xhaka.

Xhaka is such a good signing. Arsenal use the full backs more than most teams and he always finds them in space.

Wenger on Xhaka: “He did adjust very well. His passing was clean & technically he did well. I believe his first game was encouraging.” #afc

Xhaka might be the only player in our squad capable of reading Mesut’s vision. What an amazing talent we’ve just get.
