Not long ago, Dutch striker Robin Van Persie was a fan favourite of the Arsenal faithful. However, it all changed when he decided to join Manchester United in 2012.
The Dutchman won the league title in his first season with United, but following Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure from the club, Van Persie’s United career nosedived.
Last summer, he was sold to Turkish club Fenerbahce but his time in Turkey didn’t turn out to be productive, and he has been put up for sale by the Turkey club.
It’s a sad demise of the striker, who was on top of the world not long ago, but Arsenal fans are surely not complaining:
van Persie couldve been a legend, left for one medal, and now he’s being sold by Fenerbahce

Fenerbahce President confirmed the club willing to listen to offers for Van Persie. Didn’t have the huge impact they expected

In 2012 Van Persie, Falcao & Zlatan were the best 3 strikers in the world. Man United have now had them all.

Absolutely zero sympathy for @Persie_Official he couldve been a legend at Arsenal. Instead left us for 1 medal&now his career is over.
